Notice how ‘greedy’ is mentioned in the same sentence in that first verse, but I bet this asshole didn’t join WBC in picketing Steve Jobs’ funeral, and he probably doesn’t realize the Bible bans usury as well. (Which is a basic component of our banking system.) And, well, everyone in this country enjoys alcohol, but I don’t see anyone stupid enough to call for a national ban on that either.

That second verse is funny, because the Old Testament is actually pretty supportive of slavery. 

In short, Pegalicious here needs to learn that the Bible says some pretty stupid things, and if he’s going to be gung ho about persecuting gay people he needs to quit being hypocritical and go after the investment bankers who violate the biblical ban on usury as well.
