My family has adopted seven children, six of whom have dark skin. Last February I had the audacity to be proud of that fact, and several of the social justice bullies on Tumblr thought it would be fun to sic all of their followers on me over this very issue.
I learned pretty quickly that the social justice bullies take much more joy in expressing their blanket hatred of white people than they do in the knowledge that there are seven less children in the world who’ll grow up neglected, starving, and abused.
