This is what the ‘lesser of two evils’ folks don’t understand. (Really, I think they prefer to ignore it.)  After four years of dragging Barack Obama’s ass to the finish line on key issues, even in the face of outright contempt from he and his people, we still trust that he’s going to do right by us once we put him back in office? Do you really, honestly think his ass is going to do anything for you once he’s free from accountability?

That sounds like the same line of bullshit we get out of Wall Street and the energy companies: “Keep giving us free money and we’ll create jobs!”

Barack Obama is the one who took single-payer off the table.  He ‘compromised’ with Republicans and allowed the to load the stimulus up with pork and unstimulative tax cuts.  He refused to lead on the debt ceiling deal, and opened up the public to even more severe cuts to the social safety net. He put his stamp of approval on indefinite imprisonment with out trial and torture without accountability or oversight.  He decided that he, and he alone, has the power to kill without any transparency, going so far as to allow the use of drones against first responders and funeral parties in Pakistan and Afghanistan. 

You folks who claim he’s the lesser of two evils may very well be right here, but the lesser of two evils is still evil.
