I couldn’t help but laugh. It’s like boy scout merit badges, except the person is not advertising personal achievements but rather how badly they feel about their genetic traits.

To me it seems like white (and/or male) guilt run amok, when really, folks have no business taking responsibility for the atrocities committed by their ancestors if they otherwise live a moral and just life, free of the mindset that encourages said atrocities.
