Frankly, if someone calls your dad a liar on national television, I think it’s probably a pretty natural reaction to want to punch them in the face.  (And I admit that I’d want to if someone did that to one of my family members.) Harry Truman once threatened to break a critic’s nose for giving his daughter a negative review.

But remember, the desire to punch someone and the act of punching someone are two very different things.

Quit blowing this out of proportion. Is it classy to want to punch the president? No.  Is it a natural reaction to a perceived insult, and a very public one?  I think so.
