Might as well throw away that old tired assumption that pot smokers are not productive members of society, too.

There’s no way this wasn’t deliberate torture, if you ask me. (And even if it was a ‘mistake’, how does this absolve the DEA of responsibility for treating someone like this?)

So this man, who they say wasn’t even supposed to be sent to county, is left cuffed in a holding cell for five days to survive on his own urine, and somehow they manage to find meth powder in his cell?  Is there anyone out there who really thinks this was an innocent mistake? The DEA’s story doesn’t make any sense to me whatsoever. 

This outrageous incident underscores the incredible corruption of the DEA, the manner win which they conduct raids (often killing household pets and forcing innocent kids to the ground at gunpoint), and the War on Drugs in general. 

I hope the victim gets rich suing these pieces of garbage. 

And will we be any safer at all when we revoke these peaceful folks’ right to receive value for their tax dollars in the form of education?  When we revoke their right to vote?  When we take away years of their lives for puffing on a damned cigarette that just happens to have marijuana in it? When their children get guns pointed at their heads by men sworn to protect them? What about when the drug trade explodes so violently in foreign countries that southern governors start legalizing marijuana themselves or begging the Federal Government to do it?

Observe my friends, another side effect of electing someone because they love Jesus, hate gay people, and promise to put women back in the kitchen. This is one of those moments when a politician says something so incredibly stupid, I have to wonder if they’re shilling for their golf buddies, because it just seems unthinkable that someone could honestly think marijuana kills people.
