Nah, he’s dressed up as the Iron Patriot. (Which looks cool, but wouldn’t you rather see Norman Osborne in that suit, wreaking havoc? I would.) What a huge, huge fail on the part of the director and the person who conceptualized War Machine for the film.
This video was posted in response to a teen injured in a school shooting. The kid happened to be a big Spider-Man fan, so Stan Lee decided to make a video to bring his spirits up.
You know, as far as writers and creators go, a lot of people applaud JK Rowling or damn Stephen Moffat on Tumblr, but I feel Stan Lee gets overlooked. This guy seems like a genuinely great person who appreciates his fans. Stories like this just seem to really warm my heart. Having grown up reading his comics throughout my childhood and into my adulthood, this really just—yeah, no words do it justice.
This is so neat.
I fucking love Stan Lee. I had the opportunity to meet him at Comikaze last year and he had a smile and handshake for every person that crossed his path. I think most people come away from meeting him impressed with his genuine kindness.

I was pleasantly surprised a few weeks ago to read a comic that actually depicted the Avengers kneeling to Doom. He’s one of my favorite villains.
