The sad thing is, the US is actually counting on the ice caps melting, as evidenced by their jockeying for position in the Arctic.  They want to tap those resources that will become available when they’re no longer covered in ice.

When I was a kid, someone once tried to justify their racism to me by invoking the story of the goats being separated from the sheep. 

Even then, it didn’t make a whole lot of sense. (But then again, if you believe in a magical sky fairy, burning bushes that talk, talking donkeys, angels, or the ability of a man with a ten-mile travelable radius somehow conjuring pairs of every animal in the world and enough food to feed them for forty days on one vessel, it’s probably easy for you to buy that crap too.)

I wouldn’t be surprised if a similar portrait of Jesus already exists.  These folks already ignore the fact that Jesus was an Arab. (That is, if he actually existed.)
